Tuesday-Thursday June 3,4,5

These are the last three days of the school year. Finals will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Grades will be posted by Friday morning.

Thanks again to all students, plenty of funny moments that will be remembered forever.

Monday June 2nd

Today makes the last day for zero period. As promised we watched Monty Python - Search for the  Holy Grail.

Classes 1-5 were able to spend the period finishing any outstanding work and update their assignment sheets.

Finals start tomorrow for per 1,2

Zero period had the 2nd half of their final exam, as per 1-5 had the period to finish any outstanding work assigned, complete their maps (Asia and Europe) and update their assignment sheets.

Today in class, 0 period began the final exam after turning in their maps. The assignment sheets are due tomorrow for 0 period. Those in other classes spent the day completing or continuing their unfinished work and assignment sheets. Out of the graded 0 period tests, the highest score so far was a 101 out of 109.

Zero Period: Potluck Monday!

Today in class we finished the North Korea Video in which we learned the imminent death of all Americans due the great power of North Korea. We also saw some great examples of how we should be treating the Great Leader, Mr. Gillis (according to Mr. Gillis). Remember that the final is tomorrow for 0 period and maps are due on the day of the final.

Today was a wonderfully short day we started by watching Inside North Korea, featuring Lisa Ling, a National Geographic host. The video detailed some of the conditions and mindsets of those who live in North Korea and documented the medical team who had to work in poor conditions to restore eyesight of the blind. Maps are due on the day of the final test. A 94.5% will allow you to "skip" (happy? Happy? Good. Douchepickles.) the final. Zero period should begin planning for their awesome potluck.

Today in class we watched another video on Tiananmen Square and Tank Man, detailing the events at Tiananmen Square, and several theories by journalists on what had happened to Tank Man after his now famous act of protest. We also turned in the homework from yesterday. Even better, we have homework to complete over the three day weekend (Oh joy, what way to relax from school but to do school work?)
