We started class by correcting yesterday's Chapter 29 Tests. Jiayin Lu set the curve at 40 out of 40 in zero period. Those who did not receive at least 79% will be having a personal, life changing lunch date with Mr. Gillis to retake it within a week. As usual, the homework for Chapter 30, the introduction chapter, is due on the day of the Chapter 30 Test.
After correcting the test, we watched two videos: Look Up (which, coincidentally, Mr. Gillis got from Ms. Oddson, who got it from Ms. Sarkar, who also showed it today) and a part of Gordon Ramsay's Great Escape where we watched as he, like the stereotypical American tourist (although he isn't American), swam and splashed in a holy meditating pool.
